WORSHIP

If God hadn’t been for us, if God had not been on our side, begins Psalm 124.

The Psalmist continues to articulate, with dramatic, poetic language, what his people’s troubles felt like:  a flood sweeping over us;  raging waters sweeping us away.

The poet then shifts his images as he describes what God’s deliverance felt like:  we have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare.  (Fowler: hunter of wild birds. Snare:  trap.)

We’re free as a bird in flight!

We hope you will join us for Transformational Worship!

Worship is held in the Chapel - enter off 19th Ave. at Cambie St. | Coffee follows at 11:00.
